Our vision is to support animal welfare professionals and volunteers in creating, promoting, and advancing the most humane environment for Indiana's domestic companion animals.

Our purpose is to engage Indiana non-profit and municipal animal welfare and animal service organizations in collaborative initiatives that positively influence member organizations and their constituencies' treatment of animals. The Coalition is not regulatory in nature and oversees no other organization or membership other than itself.

Our mission is to promote responsible sheltering standards, pet ownership, and respect for animals by introducing and influencing policy and legislation that set foundations and expectations to improve and save the lives of Indiana's domestic companion animals.
